Dear AORN GH Chapter 4407 Members, Supporters, and Friends,

On behalf of the AORN GH Chapter 4407 Board and Nominating Committee, I extend our sincere gratitude for the overwhelming turnout at our September meeting. We were delighted to welcome over 100 attendees, both in-person and via Zoom, creating a truly vibrant and engaging atmosphere.

The evening was a resounding success, featuring a delightful dinner (including collard greens, macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, cookies, lemonade, and sweet tea), insightful presentations from our President and guest speaker, past President Chad Flore, and valuable networking opportunities.

Our President, Ebony Mitchell-Wallace, announced the launch of our monthly "Turquoise Talk" series, designed to foster professional growth and mentorship within our community. Our inaugural speaker, Carmel V. Pound, MSN/MBA, RN, CNOR, CSSM, shared her inspiring perioperative leadership journey, emphasizing the importance of introspection, embracing challenges, and pursuing professional goals with courage and resilience. Mrs. Pound's message resonated deeply, reminding us that growth often lies beyond our comfort zones.
