Good afternoon AORN GH #4407 Members and Supporters,

AORN GH Board and Nominating Committee would like to encourage everyone to nominate outstanding individuals for recognition. Among us all in a daily practice and within our chapter, are many exceptional, aspiring leaders who while they may not currently hold formal leadership positions, consistently demonstrate the qualities needed to drive Perioperative Patient Care forward. These individuals possess the vision, dedication, and expertise to propel our field to new heights. Their contributions deserve to be acknowledged and celebrated. Please take a moment to consider those who embody excellence and leadership in our community and please nominate those individuals for this inaugural and prestigious grant opportunity. More detailed information concerning the grant is below.

The Linda Groah Leadership Development Grant program is designed to support the future trailblazers of perioperative nursing. This program seeks to identify and support aspiring nurse leaders who demonstrate exceptional promise in clinical leadership, innovative thinking, and a strong commitment to advancing the field of perioperative care.

Selected nominees will receive a grant with the following inclusions:

AORN Leader Membership
2026 AORN Global Surgical Conference & Expo Leadership Summit registration + Expo grant
Access to leader-specific educational opportunities and support

Please note: All nominees must be nominated by a colleague, supervisor, or a professional peer. Self-nominations will not be accepted.

Submission deadline is Tuesday, September 30th at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

There will be no exceptions, so please plan accordingly.
