Certified Nurses Day March 19, 2020

Good evening AORN Greater Houston Chapter 4407,

In addition to our March 10, 2020 voting party, we will also be showing our support for our very own, Darlene Murdock, National AORN Secretary by wearing royal or light blue, an honoring certified perioperative nurses! ANCC Certified Nurses Day may not be until March 19, 2020, but there's nothing wrong with celebrating early. If you have gone the extra mile and obtained any type of certification, we want to honor you!!! Send us your name, certifications, and which organization you are employed at!  

This is a contest... let's see which organization has the most certified nurses! The team that wins will be featured on our website, in our April 2020 Newsletter, and one member of that team will receive a special door prize!! Invite a perioperative colleague to attend our meeting voting party! New interns, there's a contest for you as well! The hospital with the most new interns that attends our meeting will also be entered into a drawing for a die y'all prize! Let the competition begin! PeriOperative Service educators of the varying organizations or organizational leaders, you are welcome to submit the names of your certified nurses by email to aornofgreaterhouston@gmail.com. be ready to cast your vote for our National candidates.
