Greetings Everyone!
It’s that time of the year again when PeriOperative Nurses recognize and celebrate each other during PeriOperative Nurses Week at our next chapter meeting. This year the week of November 10-16 is recognized as National Perioperative Nurses Week. There are several social and educational activities scheduled for each of you to register for in honor of PeriOperative Nurses Week via emails and the links provided and posted on our Greater Houston website.
In addition, please click on the link BELOW to nominate the Nurses you choose to recognize and celebrate this year in the selected categories within the Survey Monkey BELOW before October 26, 2019. The winners will be recognized and awarded at our next chapter meeting on November 12, 2019.
Also, I want to thank you all who have been donating can goods and monetary donations for the HOUSTON Food Bank Drive. We are still accepting can goods and nonperishable food items at the next chapter meeting.
I would like to also thank each of you who have registered as volunteers for Elrod’s PeriOperative Kids Fun Day this coming Saturday, October 19, 2019. It’s not too late to register to volunteer via VIPS on the HISD website. Students and members can still register until the noon hour on the day before the event.
