ELROD Elementary Event: Additional Volunteers Needed

Greetings AORN #4407 Carriers of Light and Good Deeds!

I trust that all is well as many of you begin the start of your 3 day weekend.  On behalf of the GH Board and Committee Members, we wish you all a safe and “HAPPY COLUMBUS DAY” weekend with family and close friends. 

As the  (10/19/19) date of our First Annual Elrod Elementary Kids’ PeriOperative Fun Day quickly approaches, additional time for members and students to sign up by clicking the link on our website and also by registering with VIPS on the HISD Website by 10/17/19 to VOLUNTEER with AORN GH at the ELROD ELEMENTARY Event on October 19, 2019. 

If at all possible, please bring boxes of (small) size latex-free gloves from the dollar tree stores and any clean gowns from canceled cases that you may have been collecting with permission from your facility. 

 Come dressed in your fun colorful Scrubs or any scrub suits of your choice.  Also bring for the kids some snacks such as hard candies, snacks free of nuts, Gatorade and water, please.
