Volunteers Still Needed

Good morning All, 

Happy Sunday! I pray this email finds all in good health and prospering.  We are still in need of volunteers for the Susan G. Komen Walk (medical volunteers) and the Elrod Periop Day.  All individuals who follow through with volunteering at these events, as well as those who have served as volunteers at prior events held in 2019,  will be entered into a drawing to receive a free flight to Nationals in Anaheim! This is a huge money saver and help for anyone desiring to attend our National Conference.  You must be willing to serve as a delegate and commit to attend all required delegate activities including voting in our National and local elections.  There are a total of 6 volunteer opportunities that have been or will be held throughout this year.  In addition to the Elrod Periop Day and the Susan G. Komen Walk, individuals can donate can goods and other items (for the Houston Food Bank and Nora's House), Toys for the Shriner's Christmas Toy Workshop, and School supplies for HISD and Fort Bend School Districts.  Only volunteer activities participated in during the 2019 year, will count toward the drawing.  Thank you again for all you do for perioperative patients daily! You are truly appreciated and AORN Greater Houston Chapter 4407 is grateful to have you as a member!
