Dana Petri

Good afternoon All,

I hope this message finds you each well.  Dana Petri, past OR Director at the Methodist Hospital (now Houston Methodist) in Houston , Texas, was an avid supporter of AORN. Dana transitioned from this life at the age of 97. She was recognized by AORN as the recipient of the Jerry G. Peers Award (1989), for her outstanding service and support of operating room nursing. She was President of AORN Greater Houston Chapter 4407 and supported the organization very actively from the local area. She retired from The Methodist Hospital in 1990 with a lifetime of experiences that paralleled and supported world reknown surgeons as Michael DeBakey, Alice McPherson, Jimmy Howell, Bobby Alford, Stanley Crawford, George Morris, Russell Scott, and others.
