Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Special Procedures (IR)PRN for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. As a Special Procedures RN, you will be responsible for setup and assist physicians with procedures as needed (i.e., abscess drainage, biopsy, consent for invasive procedures and follow-ups, as necessary). We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other, and we are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now!

What You Will Do In Your Role:

• You will be responsible for EKG monitoring, when necessary
• You will be responsible for administering medications/blood as ordered
• You will be responsible for start of saline locks and IV’s according to IVP/CT protocol
• You will be responsible for catheterization of patients in department
• You will monitor patients receiving IV sedation under the direct supervision of the Radiologist
• You will be responsible for informing the Radiologist/Technologist of any penitent changes in the patient’s condition
  
  

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required
• BSN is preferred
• 1 year of RN critical care experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS & PALS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required
