Additional Information
When bullying, overcompensating, virtual reality, and mental instability converge, a person can experience intensified feelings of anxiety, depression, and isolation. Their sense of reality and self-worth becomes distorted and quitting may seem like the only option. The blending of negative experiences from the real world with immersive virtual ones can blur boundaries, leading to difficulty distinguishing reality, emotional dysregulation, and a higher risk of experiencing imposter syndrome. Learners will be provided tools to overcome low self-esteem, paranoia, and desires to quit so that they can individually and collectively thrive in the fast paced perioperarive environment.
